Casey Devine

I attended George Fox University and upon graduation, immediately began my career with a public accounting firm in Lake Oswego, OR. After completing one busy season with the tax team, I jumped ship and spent the next ten years rising through the ranks within the assurance department. During that time, I gained technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards through extensive experience serving privately owned companies with gross revenues ranging from $1 million to $475 million, generally in the manufacturing, distribution, food, transportation and lumber industries. My years performing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations provided me with invaluable experience analyzing complex financial data and helping business owners identify areas of strength and opportunity.
In 2022, I transitioned to the business advisory team, where I brought that same analytical mindset to helping clients navigate the wide array of challenges they faced. During my time with the advisory team, I excelled at breaking down complex business issues into smaller, more manageable pieces, leading to greater clarity, progress and achievement for my clients. My advisory time was spent serving companies generally in the professional services, manufacturing and healthcare-related industries.
In 2025, I decided to start Beyond Financials with the goal to partner with clients in a way that helps all parties continue to learn and grow, while also prioritizing the people and things that matter most. Having been in the public accounting industry, I am well aware of the unique challenges that working moms face as they try to navigate growing in their own careers while also doing the important work of raising families. I feel passionately about helping clients make decisions that go beyond the financials and take into account the many factors that impact both business success and personal satisfaction. I believe that my clients' wins are my wins, and that feeling of shared success is what gets me excited to help my clients keep building, improving, and finding more time for the people and activities they love!

In my REAL life, I grew up playing all types of sports. I have dabbled in many activities,
but have fallen in love with the following at various points in my life: soccer, racquetball,
running hurdles, wallyball, sand/grass volleyball, and pickleball. I also enjoyed a
period of my life where I was fortunate enough to travel extensively. I LOVE reminiscing
about my many grand adventures so please ask me about any of my trips: Holland,
France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Eastern Europe, Canada, Haiti
Mexico, Central America, Costa Rica, Ecuador and road-tripping
around the United States to visit various National Parks.
In my current life stage, I have had less time for sports and travels and spend more time
with my family. My husband, two small children and I live on a five acre homestead
where I spend most of my time trying to keep certain things alive (children, chickens,
garden…) and other things dead (mice, rats, weeds…). I spend an absurd amount of
time building LEGO creations, coloring and dumping rocks from one spot to another
with my kids. Family gatherings with parents, grandparents, siblings and cousins are a
highlight of every week.
